Billie Jean Remix at OGT Prep Rally, March 2011, Princeton High School
In 2009, Jason Haap had the idea for Princeton High School to implement “prep rallies” each morning for the OGT. These gave all the sophomores a chance to get to school on time for the test, and to get some breakfast. They also were an opportunity to get kids excited about taking the test. In 2011, Jason Haap teamed with colleague Kristin Coey Grote, and the two performed this remake of Michael Jackson’s “Billie Jean,” with new lyrics meant to match the Reading Test.
This footage was captured by another teacher who happened to have a video camera handy.
