Adrian Neal’s Recommendation, former student from 2003-2005

My name is Adrian Neal, Executive Director of the Mathis Foundation for Children. I am very proud to write a recommendation letter for Jason Haap. As a student and mentee of Mr.Haap for over 6 years I have had the pleasure of being inspired by him to be the most that I can be as a person. Mr.Haap has always instilled in me principles of integrity that give me strength to believe that there is no obstacle that I cannot overcome and that I am indeed meant to be great in the world. I credit Mr.Haap for invoking the spirit in me that gave me the motivation to graduate from high school, go on to graduate college, and also secure my job at the Mathis Foundation for Children.

With his unique and diverse teaching style, Mr.Haap gave me an appreciation for literature and writing. Prior to being introduced to Mr.Haap, I had no real desire to read anything that wasn’t a magazine or webpage; however, his teachings to look for the deeper meaning of things made me not only appreciate literature, but arts of all kind. Mr.Haap worked hard to pick my brain and teach me how to use it. He taught me how to see the thin line that so many people miss, and for that I am more than grateful. I don’t feel that the things that have made me successful are because of the level of education I have, but my ability to see what is to come and how to work with what is there. I truly do believe that this characteristic in me is due to the fact that I had the privilege of being taught by Jason Haap.

My.Haap is a wonderful person who can do so many wonderful things and I truly do believe that he is a force that can help to move the world in a positive way.
