About Jason A. Haap, MA
Jason Haap grew up in Finneytown where he attended the public schools. He earned a BA in English from Xavier University in 1997 with a minor in secondary education. Since that time, Haap has been a high school teacher - working in parochial, charter, and public schools. This versatile set of experiences gives Haap unique qualifications for working at any school.
Haap continued his formal education through Middlebury College where he attended the Bread Loaf School of English, earning his MA. He studied in Vermont, Alaska, New Mexico, and he finished his senior semester taking a double course load at Oxford University, England.
Haap has been a political blogger and media activist for several years, experiences that have given him insights into the power of language. He lives in Mt. Airy with his wife of twelve years and their two children.
